CA School District Funds $12 Million In Improvements With Energy Efficiency Programs

With its 22,000 students, the Hacienda La Puente Unified School District near Los Angeles was struggling to keep its 32 schools in top condition. The District partnered with Schneider Electric on an energy savings performance contract to fund $12 million in district-wide modernization that included lighting, HVAC and building and IT management upgrades. These efficiency efforts improved the learning environment and saved $800,000 per year. Learn more about Prop 39 and energy savings performance contracts at www.enable.schneider-electric.com
